The things that rocks have in common are they both have two or more minerals in them. Different types of rocks might have the same minerals. Example: I think all marble has calcite in it

One example of what all rocks have in common is what they are made out of. All rocks are made out of two or more different color minerals. After the minerals join together they form a rock.
