Hello Room 19!
We had a great first zoom call yesterday. We will make the move to use zoom for academic lessons soon. This means that we will put away our stuffed animals and pets and have a more focused session. I will use some of the other features of zoom in order to share my screen and do a whole group reading, science, or math lesson. I will let you know the date and time of the next call soon.
We did not have a chance to prepare Social Studies materials to send home by last Friday, so I have assigned students to California Studies Weekly. This is the online version of what is usually offered as a printed publication. The first two assigned issues are 1) Week 19 Maps and Globes and 2) Week 20 Continents and Oceans. These assignments should be completed by next Wednesday, March 25.
Students will login using the same username and password as Clever. You cannot use Clever to login. Instead, you will type the long username that is your child’s email address and the new password that was sent last week. Please let me know if you need me to email your child’s email address login. This was first sent to you in the beginning of the year and is the ST Math (Clever) password - not the QR code. I am sorry this seems so confusing!
