Hello Room 19 Families,
I hope you all enjoy this much deserved break. I am going to try to do something that makes this time feel special, like a Spring Break should!
We will resume school on April 13. You will get an email on Sunday, April 12th with the weekly schedule.
Dr. Collier has put together a packet that you can pick up from outside of school on April 13 between 9-2. This is an optional packet of some reading material and questions, other workbook-type language arts sheets, some math word problems, a grammar/spelling book, and the rest of the MyMath text book. She will also provide a link to the packet in case you want to print it instead. These extra reading materials will not be part of the assigned curriculum that you will receive weekly.
This decision to pick up the packet is completely yours to make. You DO NOT need to pick up these packets. What I provide is completely aligned with the standards and your child WILL NOT be missing out on anything.
If you choose to pick up the packet, you are asked to leave your children at home. The packets will be on a table outside the school. You will look for Room 19’s folders and take one. You are asked to keep a safe distance, which means you need to remain in your car until the parent who is already at the table has gotten back in their car. Let me know if you have any questions, but you do not need to let me know if you are or are not picking up the packet.
