An optional assignment was sent home on Friday: Create a trap for those pesky leprechauns. This "silly" activity is a great way to have fun building something with your child. If you decide to partake in the fun, be sure to make it a meaningful activity by letting your child do much of the planning and building. The Engineering Design Process is an important part of the Next Generation Science Standards and a great way to teach problem solving. Click here to read the info that was sent home.
