Along with Week 5's spelling packet, you should have found the first Pen Pal writing assignment in your child's homework folder. This is really Wednesday night's homework, due Thursday, but I wanted to give it to you sooner in case you need more than one night to complete it. It is due this Thursday, October 4.
Since we are back to a normal school week, I wanted to remind everyone that the spelling packet that goes home each Friday is due each Tuesday. Teachers have been asked to make sure students work on Lexia and ST Math at home. Please continue making this a regular occurrence. Along with the reading, please note on the monthly log the amount of time spent on Lexia and ST Math. If you haven't already turned it in, please send September's log with your child on Monday. October's log will go home then, too.
