Hello everyone,
Thanks for coming to watch us perform on Friday. I added some new pictures to my pictures page.
Our field trip this Thursday has been approved! Students must wear a Warner field trip shirt and bring a sack lunch. Since part of the trip is outside, students should bring a sweatshirt or jacket.
This week's homework assignments, due Monday, December 14:
1. I'd Rather Read log and paragraph
• Choose a new question to answer. The paragraph should be written about the book you are reading at home. Be sure to include the name of the book and the author in the first sentence, just like we practiced in class.
2. Math: Problem solving tasks and practice sheet.
3. Science:
4. Poem of the Week: "My Shadow" by Robert Louis Stevenson. The assignment for Thursday is optional.
5. Reading Olympians - Iris Set: Iris set quizzes are this Friday. Study the word parts using the concentration cards.
6. Empty egg carton: If you haven't already, please bring in an empty, but clean egg carton (that held 12 eggs) as soon as possible.
Have a great week,
Christina Polay
